Talking Clocks PLUS

A success story in helping children tell the time on analogue and/or digital clocks by Topologika.

This software produces Bright and friendly animated talking clocks interact with learners, showing them how the hands of a clock move and how digital numerals change.

Four different activities teach the concepts and words involved in telling the time: Say the Time, Set the Clock, Match the Clocks and How Much Time? Each of these can be set at levels appropriate to children's' ages and abilities.

Children can have just one 'go' or up to three, and can work against time, receiving continuous feedback with real speech. AM, PM or 24-hour times can be selected, from just the hours right down to any minute e.g. 1 o'clock or 18:30 pm.

Target learning by year and term with the software's 48 Numeracy Strategy-linked files, and choose from a choice of primary and adult digital and analogue clock styles.

Supplied with printable worksheets (on the CD-ROM).
