Sue Marshall, creator of Early Vision, has over twenty years of experience as an early years teacher, assessor and inspector. She created the concept of "video visits" to inform and inspire children's role play, because she found that often children have little or no personal experience of the role play scenario. Hence, each video visit unlocks the door to quality role play by enabling children to watch and hear adults in their work, so they can play their parts with knowledge and understanding.

Each pack contains: a DVD film and a teaching CD handbook containing: role play guidance, writing frames, roles and resources, still photographs, notices and signs, key vocabulary and Foundation Stage planning sheet.

Overcome the frustration of visits where children can be distracted. These videos are selective, and focus on the kinds of things you will want children to see and hear. Watch them over and over again to discuss what props they will need; then again to focus on what people say. When it comes to role play, the children will be really confident, know what to do, and have gasped the language, picked up the speaking frames and conversational structures.
