Fact File

Fact File contains 83 photocopiable reading passages which may be used with children in a wide variety of ways. These may include: reading skills comprehension, creative writing, dictionary exercises, paragraphing and spelling revision. Many of the passages are particularly useful for more specific topics such as comparison and contrast, key words, memory strategies, syllables, parts of speech and sentence structure.

Parents using Fact File in conjunction with the Dyslexia Institute Literacy Programme will find the table linking the level of each passage to a specific teaching point very useful, but they should note that the passages do not focus on those points.
