Maidenhead Schools Show Improvement in English Baccalaureate Awards

A number of students in Maidenhead are showing encouraging signs in line term thinking from the core subjects they are now studying. Theresa May MP for Maidenhead says the English Baccalaureate (EBacc) has resulted in 50 per cent more students studying English, Maths, Science, Humanities and Languages. The new EBacc is awarded to students who achieve A* to C in these five core GCSE subjects and is part of the governments commitment to deliver an improvement in schools ton help students to gain greater option for further education or a job.
