Foundation

Covering children aged 3 to 5 years old this is the introduction to the schooling process of child development. It can start in nurseries, playschools and with child minders in approved child minding networks and the reception classes in primary school.

Most importantly the learning process should be seen as fun and play using educational games, allowing children to build the foundation learning skills in readiness for the key stages of the National Curriculum.

It provides a great way of introducing family learning, allowing you to monitor your children’s learning progress and development. keen2learn provides an expanding selection of the teaching resources and education games ideal for the foundation curriculum. For more information on the child learning process see Foundation National Curriculum
