Admission Possible with keen2learn!

Tuesday, August 29th, 2006

The recent Channel 4 documentary series “Admission Impossible” emphasised the tortures that befall parents and children wanting to gain entry to the ideal next tier in the child’s schooling.Couple this to “hidden” concerns about falling standards in key subjects at primary and secondary level despite the incredible hard work of teachers. You could wonder what to do next if your child is affected. The education system is by necessity a massive machine and its momentum renders slow to react to the need for any prompt change in course; teachers are unable to take on additional tasks; how then can you overcome any deficit. One solution is to use the teachers’ observation to advise on areas of deficiency. This allows you to complement the lessons at school through one to one support with your child at home. The keen2learn range now offers a comprehensive selection of teaching products able to allow parents to inject fun and enjoyment into your child’s studies. Parents providing support to their children in their own time and pace have been proven to have a profound effect on a child’s progress. It’s not all grind, the growing ability can be fun as practice makes perfect, and you know that great feeling you get when you are good at something – and you want to go even further…
